Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. The ATHA project exemplifies HPCR’s ongoing partnership with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), both in terms of strategic orientation of goals and vision, as well as the substantive core of the project. The chief objective of HPCR within the ATHA project is to build the capacity of humanitarian professionals through increased knowledge, competencies, and skills germane to their sector in order to facilitate improved humanitarian outcomes. This impact is sought through the translation of policy research into on-site trainings, animated e-learning modules, thematic briefing papers, web-based expert debates, and engaged social networks.
