ATHA launches a Community Forum at LinkedIn

The Advanced Training Program on Humanitarian Action, (ATHA) aims to build a foundation of insightful and continuous dialogue on humanitarian issues among relevant stakeholders. For this purpose of having a place for discussions on emerging humanitarian challenges ATHA has created a Community Forum at LinkedIn - ATHA LinkedIn Community Forum.

This Forum will work an open forum for professionals seeking a platform for discussions under the humanitarian context, but also serve as a Alumni Network for the participants to the program. Within this Forum we have created various discussion topics that are related to each of the thematic areas that the program covers.

When entering into the ATHA program participants will automatically receive an invitation to join the Forum.

How to join?
To join the group you need to send in your request through your LinkedIn account. All applications to join will be reviewed and decided by the ATHA Team. You need not to have participated in ATHA Trainings to be eligible to enter into the Community Forum. Nevertheless, you need to have a professional affiliation to an humanitarian or development actor. Please state this connection in your application.

Discussions that fall under this Forum is not the voice of Sida, HPCR nor HPCR International. The Group and topics addressed does not represent Sida or any Swedish Governmental Policy. The forum is open for discussions and networking that fall under humanitarian action.

Discussions will not be facilitated by the organizers of the Program. They are all on a open ended status. Within this context the ATHA Team will have the role of operational management of the group, creating an opportunity for discussions between professionals and inform about activities within the ATHA program.

A separate group will also be formed for connections under the ATHA Alumni Network.

We do hope you will enjoy our ATHA Community Forum for your professional needs and development!
